NYFORS has a long history of providing both private and public clients assistance in coping with difficult fiber handling and preparation problems, making us the ideal partner in your research and development efforts.
In addition to undertaking design and development studies, we can assist your research and development team in solving their specific problems within fiber handling and fiber preparation. The NYFORS team of experienced engineers supports you through all the stages of your research and development process − from the initial design studies and prototyping, all the way through the transition into volume production.
Our in-house competence is further complemented by an external network of industrial and academic partners. Since 2009, NYFORS is a member of the ACREO Fiber Optic Center (AFOC), an industry-institute-university competence center located both in Stockholm and Hudiksvall, Sweden. This center focuses its research on the developing of novel fiber optic technologies, such as fiber based sensor systems, specialty fibers and fiber lasers.
